In this session, country experiences will be shared on how the United Kingdom, New Zealand, the Philippines, and Thailand establish and implement equity-based budgeting mechanisms to financially support the most needed schools and marginalized students in their respective countries. Several efficient budgeting models, including the school deprivation index development, and the local area-based funding will also be discussed.
