Miss Wantanee Phantachat is a Director of Focus Center, Assistive Technology and Medical Device Research Center, an organization under National Science and Technology Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Thailand. She is a pioneer in developing Information and Communication Technology Accessibility Plan in Thailand. She is also working as a policy maker in Special Education, Public Health for people with disabilities as well as older persons. She is also appointed as Technical Committee of Aging Society of International Organization for Standardization. Thai Telecommunication Relay Service (TTRS) is one of center that she started in 2012 and she has been a consultant to TRS since then. In 2016 She also established the service for persons with hearing impairment; Smart Sign Media Center (SSMC) and Thai Captioning Service Center (TCSC). She is also a committee of the Information Technology Foundation under the Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. She is very active on using Asssistive Technology to help persons with disability in Thailand.
