Ms.Sanna Vahtivuori-Hanninen

SANNA VAHTIVUORI-HÄNNINEN, Ph. Lic. (Educ.) is Senior Specialist at the Ministry of Education and Culture in Finland. She is Secretary General at Finnish Teacher Education Forum. She is responsible for developing teacher education, Swedish education in Finland and the government grants. She has been working as an Advisor to the Permanent Secretary and Project Manager at the Ministry of Education and Culture in Finland. She has led Government’s Program the New Comprehensive School. She has also worked as a researcher, and senior lecturer of media education, and didactics at the Department of Teacher Education the University of Helsinki, and project manager at the CICERO Learning Network, University of Helsinki. Her research interests and developmental work deal with teacher education, digital learning, pedagogical models, and design and assessment of network-based education.
