DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR,CURRICULUM PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT 2 - MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, SINGAPORE
Ms. Beatrice Chong is Divisional Director, Curriculum Planning and Development 2 (CPDD2) at the Ministry of Education (MOE), Singapore. As Divisional Director of CPDD2, she oversees and stewards the national curriculum for Singapore schools.
An educator by training, Beatrice is privileged to have had the opportunity to serve in various key appointments within the education service, including as the Principal of two schools – Dunman Secondary School which is a high school, and Anglo-Chinese Junior College which is at the senior high/pre-university level. She also has had policy-making experience at the Educational Policy Branch, Planning Division, MOE. She is currently a Board member of Gardens by the Bay (Singapore), and the National Heritage Board.
Beatrice read History at the National University of Singapore, and has a Masters of Education from Harvard University.
